Last Sunday, 13 members of our youth group met to help undecorate the church. Thank you to all the students that helped out with this service project. Additionally, they made Graduation cards for Rachel, a Livonia High School student who has been battling cancer and will go through commencements this week. We hope these cards will bring her much happiness on her special day. YG members check your email and text for updates on upcoming meetings and any change of dates or times. We have run into some scheduling conflicts from our original calendar. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call an adult leader. Thank you to all parishioners who have donated so far to our Bottle Drive. We will continue to collect cans and bottles until February 5,with all proceeds going to help defray the cost of our student’s fees for the CYO Rainbow Conference and other YG activities. If you have clean cans and bottles that are cluttering your garage or house, let us take them off your hands. Please bag and label them “Youth Group” and drop them off in the vestibule or call Marcia Santostasi to arrange for pick up. It’s not too late to sponsor a high school student for the Annual
CYO Rainbow Conference XXX being held February 11-12, Youth Group is open to all parish students in grades 9-12th. YG is
a community of our parish teens from various high schools who
meet twice monthly for service projects and social events.
Working collaboratively, we share a common bond of living our
faith, fellowship and having fun while we provide service within
our community and parish. Remember it is never too late in your
high school career to join youth group. You can earn needed
service hours for high school. More importantly, you will be
doing service for your parish and community. For further information regarding Youth Group contact: The Youth Group thanks you for your continued support!!!
